Choose the right keyboard monitor
for a better live sound experience

• As long as a monitor can reach the lows your instrument requires and handle the level, there is no need for a bigger one.
• If you are playing together with a bass instrument in your band, choosing a smaller keyboard monitor with less bass response will prevent mudding the stage sound. You will probably hear some lows from the PA anyway.
• For minimal stage level and absolute clarity, put the monitor on a crate or a stool.
• Resolution and midrange clarity are most critical to understand the notes being played.
• Good sounding passive monitors suggest quality components and design, yet many active monitors take pride in DSP (digital signal processing), but in reality are using it to compensate for the opposite qualities
